This package is currently creating duplicate icons inside of Dash to Dock on Gnome. I believe it is an error similar to what Chromium used to experience:

@gutigen, a VCS package is *never* out-of-date. It may need adjustments sometimesm but that's is not the case today. Please don't set gratitous out-of-date flags to VCS packages and I don't mean just this one.

I've started packaging the upstream released binaries as brave-browser-bin. I'll ping here when I've uploaded a working PKGBUILD.

I just get an empty browser, No address bar no functionality nothing. No errors either. Anyone else having this?

I have installed this package. When I run the brave command I get a window with this error:

Please make sure the webpack devserver is running via:
npm run watch
