@DonOregano: That's weird. Can you try to build it verbose? You can add -v to the script [1] to get more information. I just made a makechrootpkg build that works fine. scan-build shouldn't be used in the build.

It's not building for me at the moment:

==> Starting pkgver()...
==> Updated version: nss-hg r13294.fa15eb3ce158-1
==> Starting build()...
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().

I tried to work out what is happening, but from what I can tell in nss/ is failing without providing any indication of what went wrong. Something to do with running "scan-build", whatever that is. This is where I gave up...

Thanks for the bump. I meant to do a couple things here. I'll update the package shortly.

replaces should be conflicts. Otherwise it won't uninstall the core nss package when installing.

It needs a proper pkgver function so that pacman knows when an upgrade is occurring.

Your upstream URL is outdated, the correct one is

The latest core nss package has an additional export in build(). You might want to add that.

Can you add replaces nss and provides nss

hm, that's interesting. where do you execute makepkg? I remove the files (sort of, because aur doesn't allow me to delte them) as they're in the NSS tree now.

Fixed by removing ../ at line 53 and 63 of PKGBUILD.
Please, kindly check.

This error occurs for me

==> Entering fakeroot environment...
==> Starting package()...
sed: can't read ../ No such file or directory
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package().
