Please add v4l-utils to dependencies. I needed to install this package to be able to log me on. Otherwise, I got a "startup_load_error" and could not log in.

I can't get audio to work correctly it works for chat but if I make a call it just cuts out and I don't see any mic for capture. I was hoping it was an issue with my headset I tried a second headset same issue. Anyone have any suggestions in resolving this or is it a known bug or missing dependency.

@Hi-Angel thank you for the pointer, I will write there. I guess that is as close as we can get to a bug-reporting system...

@LucaFranceschini it's not the package per se, here's a bunch of peoples complaining

I think MS shouldn't started rewriting instead of fixing the old client, but oh, well.

Cannot make any call with last update, when I call someone it says my internet connection is too weak, though it is a very good one (90/90 and 10ms).
I cannot even receive call: a pop-up notification tells me someone is calling, but there is no button I can press to answer.

<rant>This package never really works for me, every update brings a different issue, while the old beta branch is working fine.</rant>

The Skype app logs me out and I need to sign up again each time I need to restart my computer. Are you experiencing this issue as well? This is really annoying especially as my account has 2 step authentication.

Please add an optdepend to `libappindicator-gtk2`, it is required to show the app indicator icon.

ImNtReal, you updated this package from to 17 hours ago but nobody has picked up this update because you forgot to update the .SRCINFO.

Screen sharing doesn't work for me. Whenever I try to use it, I get a white screen and I have to restart Skype.

EDIT: Okay, fixed it. I was using Wayland, and apparently screen sharing on Skype or Google Hangouts doesn't play well with it. I switched to Xorg and it works perfectly.

The tray icon is extremely tiny on HiDPI screens. All other icons on cinnamon scaled correctly so far except for Skype. It's so small it's almost non-existent.
