I have a problem with Spotify. I cannot play my local files, they are on the list but won't play. Also i cannot add another localisation for my local files, when I press Add source, nothing happends.
I've installed ffmpeg0.10 and zenity from AUR and it works.

Please use a proper license name, e.g. custom:spotify.

@cabbage: Maybe spotify removed the tray icon since it seems not to have any future anyway. Gnome 3.26 just removed the tray icon panel (see: last section).

Last update has no tray icon on Gnome 3.24 to minimize. The "Startup and window behavior" section in settings is empty. Anyone else has some idea or is this only happens to me?

Settings option won't work.

You need to see here which package you need according to your architecture

Then edit the PKGBUILD accordingly, namely the variables:

After you download the .deb package (if you use yaourt it will be in /tmp/yaourt-tmp-apelle/aur-spotify) you have to run
$ sha256sum SPOTIFYNAME.deb
to hash the package e substitute the string in the corresponding sha256sums_ARCH parameters of the PKGBUILD.

i.e. for spotify-client_1.0.64.401.g9d720389-21_amd64.deb
the hash is cc69c8826bf495ecf57b1d0daf6df87754592f48668cec4992d5187bbe85d308

The source URL currently leads to a 404.

If you're trying to login with Facebook and just getting a blank window, you can work around it like this:

Go to, login with Facebook, and edit your profile. Chose the "Set device password" option in the menu on the left. Use the account id it gives you and the password you set to login directly.
